The existing client for Digital Signage solution is a desktop computer. Only the fact that Penta™ costs about 40% of the desktop computer, it does make most sense to utilize Penta™ as the solution. In fact, such cost reduction also opens up more opportunity for distributed solution that was hindered by the high cost of each node.
Virtual Desktop
Virtual Desktop is the desktop environment that is virtualized on a Cloud Infrastructure. The users access such desktop over Remote Display Protocol (RDP) from any PC. This not only benefits users to use application available on the different platform or OS than the one on their PC, but also allows users to run newer application on the newer OS using old PC.
